Pompey Chimes in with latest Smarter Working Centre

The appropriately named Victory Business Centre is the latest location to join Hampshire's growing county-wide network of work-hubs.
This latest addition to the Hampshire & IOW Smarter Working Centre Newtork provides highly affordable internet connected work, office, training or meeting space all on a pay-as-you-use and as and when needed basis.
Portsmouth like other centres in the network also offers the benefits of co-working and easy access to SWC Partner business support organisations like Business Link, Enterprise First, Hampshire Chamber and Job Centre Plus.
Social Enterprises and CICs are also being encouraged to use the centres for group meetings and training sessions.

Better Broadband for Rural Hampshire

Hampshire County Council, home to eHampshire, has announced the start of a countywide project to develop better broadband for rural communities across the county.

Over 85% of Hampshire is classed as rural, and fast broadband is essential to ensure the economic prosperity of these rural areas.

Hampshire County Council is currently requesting proposals on how to improve broadband in the Smannel and Little London area of Hampshire.
