Business

Portsmouth is a modern and dynamic city that offers a prime location for industry, commerce, leisure and pleasure. The home of the Royal Navy is now also home to leading edge companies such as Alenia Marconi Systems, Astrium, IBM UK, Pall Europe, McLaren Composites and Zurich Insurance Services - to name a few.

Learning

Education is not child's play. Portsmouth City Council has a huge responsibility to all of our citizens, whether they are learning the basics, taking exams, improving their skills or learning for leisure. Portsmouth City Council is at the heart of education in Portsmouth, supporting the city's many schools, and helping parents and children to get the most out of time in the classroom. Once school's out, it's not too late for anyone to learn for your career, for your hobby, for fun, for yourself. .
