Work smart, grow smart - the ehampshire Conference 2006.
The ehampshire Conference 2006 focuses on the benefits of ICT for organisational development

Project MATISSE, a six month pilot study, sponsored by SEEDA, demonstrates significant productivity gains through teleworking technology

  • 87% of participants increased their productivity during the course of the pilot, while quality and accuracy of work improved

  • 21 million miles per month across the South East could be saved by working from home two days per week

  • Business travel mileage reductions evidenced of between 10% and 25%

  • A pilot project, sponsored by SEEDA (South East England Development Agency) and managed by Hampshire County Council (HCC), has found that dramatic productivity gains are possible in both the public and private sectors by using teleworking technology and practices.

The MATISSE project (Mobile and Teleworking Initiative for a Smarter South East) clearly demonstrated increased productivity amongst participants along with improved quality and accuracy of work while costs, specifically related to travel, were significantly reduced.

The resulting report is the subject of a conference being organised by HCC and taking place on 7 November in the Winchester Guild Hall (for details go to www.ehampshire.org).

Delegates will receive a FREE copy of the MATISSE report including an Implementation Checklist and Best Practice Toolkit and will be able to explore the latest ICT business solutions displayed in the exhibition area.
