If everyone gave up just one car journey per week, together we'd take 10% of car traffic off our roads, giving us healthier journeys, cleaner air and quieter streets.
To take part in the Sustrans annual Change Your World campaign, register online and leave your car behind during the first week of July (29 June - 4 July) in favour of walking, cycling, public transport, car-sharing or not making the journey at all.

Two-hundred plus local organisations pro-actively supported last week's Smart Commute Week (3rd to 7th Nov) with their own in-company 'smarter-commuting and smarter-working' initiatives, an increase of nearly 50% over 2007. Ocean FM. in addition to promoting Smart Commute Week even changed their programme schedule on Smarter/Flexible Working Day (6th Nov). East Hampshire District Council staff walked to their Petersfield meetings on Business Travel Reduction Day whilst countless thousands of employees simply left the car behind, worked from home or car-shared as part of the Smart Commute Week 'one in five challenge'.
