Smart Commute Week 2009
SMART COMMUTE WEEK 2009 took place from 2nd to 6th November. The third annual campaign, Smart Commute Week 2009 looked at the opportunities ICT-enabled, flexible, more sustainable working-practices provide to:
  1. Save on commute-costs and stress
  2. Participate in location-independent working - e.g. home, remote or Smarter Working Centre based
  3. Explore other more sustainable travel methods - from car share to cycling and from car clubs to walking to work
  4. Reduce business travel through use of web-conferencing tools
